About Us

Sean started in the AV business in 1999 at Good Guys, and from there he was hooked on the world of custom electronics. Working for 15+ AV/Electrical and Security companies over the years, he decided to start his own in 2012 to bring all of his knowledge to achieve a whole new level of service to his clients. He enjoys working with clients, contractors, architects, and designers to provide the ultimate solution for home and office needs. Customer service is at the highest standard for Sean, and taking care of his team as though they are all family is what keeps him happy. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, and fishing is his addiction.

Patrick has been involved in construction and technology from a young age, working for his uncle, a general contractor. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for building and hands-on work. Patrick transitioned into the alarm and low-voltage industry and began by installing GE alarm systems and later expanded into structured wiring as the company rebranded. During this time, he worked on large-scale projects, prewiring track homes for network, TV, intercom systems, Sony wall stations, and NHS rack systems. As the company shifted focus back to security systems, he took on the role of Alarm Manager, overseeing alarm and surveillance system installations. Patrick started as an Alarm Technician for Full Spectrum. Through hard work and dedication, he advanced to Project Manager and now serves as the Operations Manager for the company, where he leads daily operations and ensures top-quality service across all fields. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife of 26 years, their family, and their dogs. He is an avid bowler and enjoys playing golf, basketball, and baseball, and getting outside for a round of frisbee golf. He also loves traveling and camping whenever he gets the chance.

With over 25 years in the industry, Scott has an extensive background in all things technology that he leads with the highest level of technical support for the FSTG team. If there is a bug or problem with a technology system, he is diligent at finding the problem and fixing it. Scott leads technology strategy, systems architecture, and delivery with a security-first mindset. Outside of work, Scott enjoys skydiving and flying with his friends.

Grant joins the FSTG team with over 30 years in the construction and consumer electronics industries, including audio video integration, automation, security, central station monitoring, product development and retail experience. He was born in a small town in Kansas, but has made his way to all fifty states, and several countries taking in the art, architecture, culture, and food every step of the journey. Music has always been an important part of Grant’s life starting with his first pair of studio headphones and extending through his college music program and touring years, to today. He has a passion for the combining of sound, art, and technology, and enjoys nothing more than watching the customers' faces when they turn on their system for the very first time. His blue collar roots are still evident today, through his many DIY home projects, and his ability to create useful technology and solve complex problems. When you talk to Grant, it is common to hear him say, "How can I help?"

Rene's passion is lighting, including the big light bulb in the sky! Whether it is lighting control, design, or layout, Rene geeks out. He is a Swiss-trained electrician with over 40 years in that field, and for the last 15 years, he has specialized in Lutron systems. In his free time, he is into the outdoors, hiking, biking, and exploring new places. Food is very important to him, and he loves cooking, baking, and authentic restaurants wherever he is.

After many years of working in graphic design as an art director and production manager for print publications, Andreas decided to apply his skills to helping out his friend Rene Schaub with his home automation business. There he fell in love with all things Lutron, and specializes in designing Lutron shade systems and all the details associated. In his free time he likes to spend time with his wife—hiking and watching films on the Criterion Channel.

Tim Martin grew up in Europe before moving to the United States in his early teens. Influenced by his father, an accomplished audio engineer who designed auditoriums, theaters, cinemas, and recording studios, Tim developed an early passion for audio, video, and electronics. By high school, he was building competition-grade car audio systems and later gained professional experience working at The Good Guys, a well-known audio/video retailer. Outside of work, Tim is an avid outdoorsman and fitness enthusiast. His hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, dirt biking, yoga, mountaineering, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. In 2017, Tim was recruited by Sean, owner of Full Spectrum, where he has contributed in various roles over the years. Today, he serves as Senior Technology Consultant and Design Engineer, specializing in innovative smart home and integrated technology solutions.

With 35+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, Larry considers himself an AV enthusiast and dedicated professional. He loves music and movies, finds joy in the arts, and is always exploring new films and albums. Outside of work, Larry enjoys staying active with daily exercise and cherishes quality time with his family, including his two awesome dogs!

Alvaro was born and raised in the Bay Area, where his early passions for soccer and music sparked a lifelong love for audio. His career began in the high-end audio industry, where he quickly became known for mastering the art of the demo and creating immersive listening experiences. Today, Alvaro combines his technical expertise with a client-focused approach to design systems that are intuitive, reliable, and seamlessly integrated into daily life. He takes pride in building lasting relationships, ensuring each client's technology not only enhances their lifestyle but also feels effortless to use. Outside of work, Alvaro enjoys playing soccer, spending time with family, exploring new brunch spots, and walking his dogs.

Maximus was born and raised in San Mateo, CA. His career journey has taken him through healthcare, the military, and sales—with each role shaping the skills and discipline he brings to his work today. As a Technology Consultant at Full Spectrum Technology Group, Maximus focuses on home theater, security, home automation, and lighting, helping clients create spaces that are both functional and enjoyable. Known for his adaptability and dedication, Maximus enjoys tackling challenges and finding the right solutions for every project. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their young son.

Kirsten was born and raised in the Bay Area and enjoys spending time with her family. In the work world, she has had a managerial position in every company she has been at and brings her loyalty and dedication to everyone and everything she does. She thrives on her communication skills and attention to detail. Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys reading, going to the movies, and being in the mountains. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 26 years and their two dogs.

Maria was born in Martinez and raised in Concord, where she grew up as the oldest of nine siblings in a big, close-knit family. She started out as an office assistant and has worked her way up to being our inventory manager. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and kids. They enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and the movies together. Family time is the best time for her!

Karla has 12 years of corporate accounting experience and brings her enthusiasm to the world of finance. In her spare time, she loves to travel the world with her husband and young family and enjoys listening to podcasts and reading books.

Alyssa has always had an eye and passion for the artistry within design & illustration. She has been able to learn and tackle various creative veins--broadening her knowledge and skillsets, all while honing in on her focus as a Visual Development artist. Alyssa's creative thinking, attention to detail, and adaptability allow her to take whatever task is thrown her way and create striking and meaningful visuals. As Social Media Coordinator, Alyssa is excited to specially craft & elevate FSTG's online presence/branding; showcasing high-quality, professional, and cohesive visual content that fully represents the company. Outside of design, Alyssa loves to play games with friends, create hand-made crafts, explore nature and bird watch.

Kyle, originally from the Midwest, was brought up in Beloit, WI. Since his adolescent years, he has always been fascinated by technology, art, and music. He has been in the AV industry since moving out to the Bay Area over a decade ago. He is hard-working with precise attention to detail and goes to great lengths to ensure high-quality professionalism. Kyle has been with Full Spectrum since its original infancy and grew alongside the company to where it is today. Although Kyle is a multi-faceted Smart Home Programmer and System Designer, he currently holds the role as our Service Department Manager. He is known for his go-getter attitude and dedication to finding solutions to challenging problems. He and the Support Team are dedicated to ensuring all clients' homes are performing as intended. Outside of AV, Kyle enjoys expressing his creative outlets, whether it be music, writing, or art, and going on adventures with his longtime partner, Alyssa.

Joel was born and raised in the Bay Area. From a young age, Joel has always been passionate about working with his hands, exploring how things function, and finding practical solutions to challenges. In 2010, Joel was given the opportunity to be an electrical apprentice, and his curiosity was sparked! From there, he was an independent contractor working on large commercial projects, smaller industrial projects, and full-scale residential projects. Joel takes great pride in his work, ensuring that every system he installs or repairs is not only fully functional but also neatly finished and visually presentable, reflecting his close attention to detail. As the head of our electrical department, Joel oversees his division with superb attention to detail and ensures the best customer satisfaction possible. Joel's personal interests include softball and snowboarding. He also values time with his wife, three children, and their Rottweiler.

Mike was born and raised in Pleasant Hill, CA. While growing up, Mike loved playing video games, engaging in the performing arts, and bowling. He's hard-working, personable, and strives to continue learning. Some of his passions are playing disc golf, kayaking, and hiking. Mike comes from a security background with ADT and has extensive knowledge of security systems. Mike has taken those skills and his passion for programming and applied them to AV, security, networking, and home automation. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Tasha, and their son, Lukas.

Robert was born in Germany and grew up in Livermore, California. He spent much of his childhood hunting and fishing with his dad, which sparked his love for the outdoors. Robert is hardworking, dependable, and takes pride in getting the job done right. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, golfing, fishing, and hunting. With over 12 years of experience working with alarms and low-voltage systems in both residential homes and commercial buildings, Robert brings dedication and expertise to every project he takes on.

Born in Afghanistan and raised in the Bay Area, Abdul enjoyed playing soccer and basketball during his childhood. He has always been eager to understand electronics and software in great detail. Some of his passions include woodworking and music creation. For the past decade, Abdul has been involved in the AV business, contributing to large-scale projects such as Dreamforce and custom home AV integration. As a Project Manager, Abdul enjoys the challenges and solutions that come his way on a daily basis.

Alex's background is rooted in the AV industry, where he spent over 15 years as a Director running crews of complex large-scale concert and convention AV systems. During this time, he built a strong foundation in AV and customer service by leading and executing projects. He also worked for a few years at Atlona in their RMA department testing equipment, QA department testing new products, and Technical Services offering phone support to clients. Alex lives in Brentwood with his wife, their two children, and their two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active with Orange Theory workouts, baking, and spending time with friends and family. He is also a big fan of good amber ale and food. He loves to travel and try new things.

Richard brings nearly two decades of experience in audio-visual, networking, and smart home technology to Full Spectrum Technology Group, where he has been a valued team member. Practically born into the industry, he grew up around audio gear in his father's music store before earning a degree in Telecommunications & Networking with a focus on fiber optics. Over the years, he has worked in car audio, home theaters, commercial video walls, technical sales, and home automation, as well as serving as an escalation engineer at Atlona, giving him a wide range of expertise. Today, Richard channels that lifelong passion into creating reliable, personalized solutions for clients. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, fishing, and going to festivals.

Nic is a network technician with a strong passion for technology, music, and creative problem-solving. Outside of managing, maintaining, and servicing Full Spectrum's technology systems, he stays active in the local music scene as a DJ and multi-instrumentalist. He also enjoys building high-performance computers in his spare time and is a proud cat enthusiast. Whether in tech or music, Nic brings a detail-oriented and hands-on approach to everything he does.

Tim started in the industry over 30 years ago with central vac, electrical, and AV. Since then, he has had a passion for meticulous work in Audio/Video/AV Racks and Wire Management. He has run large crews on massive, complex projects. He takes a lot of pride in his work and in doing the best work in the industry. He has been with Full Spectrum for over 10 years and loves to learn new technologies and work closely with our clients to achieve the perfect end result. In his free time, he loves playing with audio and even builds speakers as a hobby.

William was born in Walnut Creek, CA and now resides in Pittsburg. Growing up, he enjoyed skateboarding and playing video games. He began his career in the security systems industry before transitioning into the AV world with Full Spectrum. He started as an assistant technician, then technician, before moving to head Programmer. William is certified in Control4, Savant, Crestron, Vantage, and Lutron programming, and also has certifications in UniFi and Eero networking, as well as many other systems Full Spectrum works with. William continues to expand his knowledge and skillset to stay ahead in the ever-evolving technology field. Outside of work, William enjoys making music—a strong passion of his—and spending time with his girlfriend Brandy and their dog Jax.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, Paul brings a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to his work in the smart home industry. With nine years of experience under his belt, he embodies a "can-do" attitude that ensures no task is too big or intimidating. Outside of his professional work, Paul enjoys embracing the great outdoors. He is an avid mountain biker, loves to paddleboard, and finds relaxation while fishing. His creative side shines through in his passion for building intricate Lego sets. Whether tackling complex projects or enjoying his hobbies, Paul's positive spirit and determination make him a valuable asset in any setting.

With 15 years of experience in the AV industry, Armando brings a master-level technical skill set to the Full Spectrum team. As a Lead Technician, he specializes in the seamless integration of high-end smart home technologies, including Savant, Control4, and Lutron systems. Before his career in technology, Armando honed his discipline and attention to detail as a Chef at the Culinary Institute of America. That same mindset is what allows him to build world-class equipment racks and navigate complex wiring diagrams with ease. Outside of the office, Armando's passion is still in the kitchen, where he loves to cook for his family. Whether he’s perfecting a new recipe or spending quality time with his wife and two children, he values the same comfort and connection at home that he strives to provide for his clients through technology.

Growing up with an uncle who is an electrician, Esequiel helped him on various projects and grew fond of electrical work. Esequiel is a proud partner to a great woman and a father of 3 boys. He started working for an AV company 11 years ago and now specializes in shade installation and maintenance. His hobbies are vintage car restoration and cruising the town to show them off with his car club.

Denzel was born and raised in Tracy, CA, where he spent most of his childhood playing sports, fishing, and learning to cook. His dad, who is also his best friend, taught him everything he knows about barbecue, cars, and the low-voltage industry. He got his start eight years ago working on track homes before moving into custom homes. His best, most favorite work yet has been any project that has to do with AV and technology systems. Denzel is a die-hard Saints fan and enjoys his weekends with his wife and two daughters.

Anthony joined the Marines right out of high school and has worked in multiple trades since. Notably, he was a Heat and Frost Mechanical Insulator, where he worked for some of the largest companies in the US like Facebook, Google, Salesforce, and Amazon. He then changed companies and trades for a new experience, working for IES Communications, where he worked as an access control specialist installing card readers, locks, door/window contacts, and cameras. At Full Spectrum, he has been especially focused on his work with residential burglar alarms, security surveillance, and access control systems. He currently lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, where they are excited to welcome their first son in October 2025.

Joe was born in Presidio, San Francisco and raised in Daly City, CA. His family moved to the East Bay in the early 2000s. Joe has been in the electrical business since 2015. His skills and knowledge continue to grow as he works in residential and residential custom homes. He's self-motivated, hardworking, energetic, and always up for a challenge. Some of his passions are fishing, exercising, and being outdoors. Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, Antigone, and their two children.

Ivan grew up in construction with his father and brought that knowledge with him to Full Spectrum, starting on the AV side and now focusing on being an electrical apprentice, which he thoroughly enjoys! On weekends, he assists his family with projects, and when he's not busy doing that, he loves outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, camping, and target shooting. He also likes riding quads and side-by-sides up north in the mountains where his family owns property.

Diego was born in Walnut Creek and raised in Bay Point, California. With previous knowledge of working with his father in construction, he is a hard worker and a quick learner. He graduated from Clayton Valley Charter High School and enjoys playing sports and hanging out with family and friends.
